OUR SPECIALIST:

I have devoted my life to helping pets and their people. Hello, by the way.  My name is Rev. C.A. Hall, but please feel free to call my simply Cathy. For 30 years, through training and behavior modification, I helped animals stay in their homes by easily teaching people how to properly relate to their pets and designing training programs that would help their pets learn what was expected of them. But, more needed to be done and I began to rescue animals from high kill situations or injured and abandoned pets needing critical care. From illnesses such as parvo and distemper, to hit by cars and gun shot victims, I often took in animals that no one else would, gave them proper veterinary care and helped them through their recovery. My work not only saved countless animals, but gave me tremendous knowledge about veterinary care and compassion for others dealing with sick and injured animals. I would eventually become and ordained minister certified in grief therapy to help others going through the crisis of a critically ill pet.

I spent years on the show circuit, first as a jump judge for equestrian 3 day eventing, then AKC obedience showing where I received over 150 placement awards a state championship, and hold a utility degree title. My UKC champion went on to work in pet assisted therapy. I was nationally recognized for my work by receiving The Dog World Award for excellence in competition. I spent considerable amount of time working with other rescues teaching basic obedience to the dogs waiting for adoption and following through to help their new people with any problems that occurred at the pet's new forever home.

What could best be described as a near death experience changed me forever. When I returned from the realm of golden light and love, I knew things beyond our physical world. I was somehow still connected there. Sadly, lost souls were coming through looking for help. It would take years of study for me to truly understand how to help them, something that still happens to this day. I was also blessed by being able to suddenly hear the animals around me, something I had done as a child but it had long been forgotten. Through more study and experience, I was able to not only hear, but to talk with the animals around me. In a few instances, I could also feel what plants and trees were experiencing.

A dear friend of mine had been talking about reiki healing. I really didn't think much about it until I fell. Hearing a crack in my bones, I knew I had re-injured my knee and was looking at weeks of pain before it would heal. Much to my surprise, the swelling was gone in the morning and my knee worked fine. Shortly after, my friend called telling me that she had sent reiki and my knee should be feeling much better. Seeing advantages to helping the critical care animals, I started training and eventually reached master level.

One of the most important lessons I have learned in my life is to respect all species. Without them, we would not survive. Mother Earth has designed a specific purpose for each species to work to keep our planet alive and healthy. When it comes to our pets, I have been fortunate to witness all that they can do for us. I have seen animals abused, neglected and injured not only recover but go on to lead productive and important lives. Many have not only gone on to bring joy to their new families, others have taken roles as pet assisted therapy dogs and service dogs helping others within their community.

Anyone who has been fortunate enough to bring an animal into their family understands that they are feeling, thinking creatures with emotions as strong as our own. Science is finally beginning to understand this, now giving more sentient status to species other than our own. Scientific tests aren't needed. Anyone who has truly taken the time to bond with an animal understands that they have souls, that the life force inside their bodies is no different from our own. My very short time in the next realm left no doubt that every living creature has a soul, the only difference being the physical form the soul has decided to inhabit.

Animals are so much more than they appear to be. In ways too numerous to mention, they help us in our everyday lives. They bring us joy and companionship. They can be our best teachers helping us grow and understand ourselves from a different perspective. All proceeds from this website go directly to animal rescue. In using our services, you will not only help yourself, your pets, but you will give others a chance to reach their full potential.
